The deck calculator can help determine the number of deck boards and fasteners needed. It is also a tool for estimating the cost of building deck flooring.

Before you start, you will need to choose what decking you want to calculate, Eco Deck™ Prestige or Advanced.

1. Determine the length and width of your deck - you can do this by marking out the corners of your designated building area with stakes, putting a string between them, and measuring the length of the line with a measuring tape.

2. Enter the values into the decking calculator. It will output the square footage of your deck.

3. The decking boards' length, width, and price have been auto-filled for you. The calculator will tell you the square footage of the boards.

4.  You will need to change the section "screws/nails" to "hidden fasteners." 

The calculator will automatically output the number of fasteners required. (This calculation is based on 16" OC joist spacing).

To calculate the cost of Eco Deck hidden fasteners & screws, round up the number of hidden clips to the nearest 100. Boxes of 100 stainless steel clips & screws cost $35.00. You can manually calculate this cost and add it to the "cost of fasteners." The calculator will estimate the cost of building your deck.
